I am sad to say that I won't be able to attend FaerieWorlds after all this year. :( I am sooooo bummed, it's not even funny. I was summoned for Jury Duty starting on July31st, so I thought my husband and I could just come for the other 2 days. He's been out of work for a while and even though we had been set up volunteer at FW, realistically we cannot afford the small trip. The venue changed and off-site camping is just as expensive as on site....I had to play the 'responsible human' and make the call that we should can the festival this year. It crushed me to have to make that decision.....FaerieWorlds is my home and all of you are my family and I will miss you all terribly. :(
HAVE SOME EXTRA FUN FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Maybe this will motivate me to get my wings ready to vend next year?!*

Tue, July 7, 2009 - 2:14 PMOh my Ivy friend *HUGS* I am in the same boat at the moment. Not sure which way is up! We had it all figured out with Quiet camp and now its on the other side. With the upgrade and all I am not sure what is happening. I have yet to talk with the rest of my crew, They seem ok with the upgrade fee but I do not have the money to front it until they can get me their money and its a big MESS!!! I almost said to heck with it this morning.
*HUGS* again... We need them! if we do make it we will surely send you some fae energies!!! I am soooo sorry to hear you cannot make it.

Tue, July 7, 2009 - 3:51 PMIvy, I'm sorry to hear you won't be able to make it. Last year I cut back to only going on Saturday because of money issues. It just wasn't enough although it was better than nothing. It's hard to have to make the decision, but here's hoping next year you'll be able to join the Faerieworlds family again.
