Would it be possible for my friends and I to set up and faerie decorate a few (one for ourselves and one or two for general guests) 10X10 pop ups in view of the stage?
The new venue pictures look very sunny and open, and we'll be missing those big ol' vineyard trees by the mainstage.

Re: Shade?
Sun, July 26, 2009 - 6:12 PMThey're going to be putting up a very large canopy in front of the main stage - last Wednesday at the work party, I think Emilio said it was about 90 across. It may be the same thing they've used in past years at Secret House (that's just my guess, though). I'd suggest bringing umbrellas or parasols for shade.
But yeah, aside from that, there's going to be lots of places open to the sun. -

Sun, July 26, 2009 - 6:17 PMHrm, I wonder if that 90 foot shade is going to cover the audience, the dancers that tend to be between the audience and the stage or the stage itself? -

Re: Shade?
Sun, July 26, 2009 - 7:45 PMI got the impression it was back from the stage a ways, but I don't know how far. My guess would be back around the same way it was at Secret House. -

Re: Shade?
Sun, July 26, 2009 - 9:01 PMThere will be 3 very large shade structures in front of main stage covering a large area. Every inch of this place is mapped so I don't think any pop-ups will work in the main stage area. See you all soon!

Re: Shade?
Sun, July 26, 2009 - 11:04 PMRight. It's back from the main stage a bit, so there's room for dancers, then shade. LOTS of shade.
The site is very big, and very beautiful. You're gonna love it.
